What a wonderful time. Every now and again I have to pinch myself in order to make sure I am awake. Our little cottage in the woods are turning into a haven I will most certainly never forget and I try to constantly remind myself that this is the best time of my life.

Well, I guess lets get back where I left off the last time. South Africa; what an absolutely awesome time. We knew it would be the last time in quite a while that we'll have the chance to visit our roots and we rose to the occasion with full force. I'll soon add some pictures so please check back here soon...

Photography. Oh, just typing the word feels good. I've been passionate about the camera as medium for as long as I can remember, but never really explored the medium nearly as much as I wanted to. Recently a friend and professional figure model visited me and a new world opened up. Although I've been taking reference pictures for nearly ten years, it is only since this visit that I feel my skill is starting to develop. Since then, I have also been fortunate to attract more models by my results.

Since I often get overwhelmed with ideas or inspiration. At times, no one is at hand to help me create the pose or vision, so I have also started exploring self-photography more in depth. I would hardly ever say this loud, but since I am so ecstatic with the results I thought I'd share…

'Passion'
As I worked on this piece the obvious title for it was not only on my mind, but felt through my whole being. This piece is also a result of a photo session TJ, (my soul mate and best friend) shared with me. Working together is one of the most natural things I ever experienced and I don't think I've ever tried to 'compose' a pose… it all just flows.

Before I go, I must mention that I'm updating my art for sale section and I'm proud to have completed my site's first print section. I hope to let this gradually grow to fill more original spaces with original Antoine Art

My best wishes to you,
Antoine
