What is a Giclee print?

“Giclee” is a French term meaning “to spray” and refers to the inkjet printing process.  Therefore, Giclees are high-quality digital reproductions of paintings and drawings. I sell limited edition giclee prints which means only a certain number (usually 100) will ever be made and each one is individually signed and numbered. This number includes prints of all sizes. (Images may still be used in publications, marketing materials etc.) I also sell ‘open edition’ prints of drawings which means an unlimited number may be produced.

How do I hang a canvas print?

Canvas prints are shipped rolled in a tube and will have to be stretched (&/framed). They could be ‘gallery wrapped’ (stapled at the back of the stretcher) to hang without a frame or they can be stretched and framed. If you prefer to hang your prints unframed, you do have the option to buy a print with ‘cloned edges’ (painting copied onto the sides). Please contact me as cloned edges may make a difference in price ($15 on average). All canvas prints has at least 1.5” extra canvas around the sides.

Will the artwork include the artist's signature &/ certificate of authenticity?

All original artworks (not prints) are signed either on the front or on the back. Photography prints are also signed and numbered by the artist below the printed area. Ltd. edition canvas prints are signed and numbered on the back of the canvas. The original signature may appear on the front. A certificate of authenticity is available upon request at no extra cost.

May I use images of your artwork?

All Antoine’s works are copyright protected and we will take action against copyright infringement. We do occasionally allow images of Antoine’s work to be used for specific projects. Written permission is needed ahead of time.

When I purchase one of your works do I own the copyright?

No, rights do not transfer with the sale. No reproduction may be made without written permission.

Can I negotiate for artworks?
